This collaboration was spear headed by Patricia Vincent who I follow on Instagram (and you should too!). She had reached out to me to see if I was interested in collaborating on a shoot for her Spring clothing line and Izabella Petrut’s jewelry line. The inspiration behind the shoot was subtle elegance, excellent craftsmanship, with an emphasis on well being. The culmination of our collaboration resulted in a creative assortment of cozy, minimalist, and effortless designs that are perfect for spring.
This styled shoot was such a labor of love between myself and all the vendors who participated. The vision for this entire shoot must be credited to Melanie of Wed & Honey. I was at first a little hesitant about the theme but she knew exactly what she was doing. Her style boards and ideas were unique and so different and it’s really no surprise that it got featured on Inspired By This! I am smitten by this stylized shoot and I love the color and life in it! It makes me happy just looking at it and hopefully when you see the images you will also feel just a little brighter!
Jennifer, who grew up in Australia but now lives in Dubai, contacted me for some updated portraits of her wearing some designer clothes. I literally could not say "YES!" fast enough because 1.) it's been a dream of mine to do a session that involves fashion and 2.) Jenn is the most cheerful and hilarious person you'll ever meet (and I found that out via email, before I even met her in real life). She also runs the popular Instagram account Jkittyt and the fashion blog www.jkitty.me so she's straight up legit.
